The River Medway Pilgrimage — Friends of the River Medway’s nine-day source-to-sea walk celebrating and campaigning for the river’s protection — passes through Maidstone on Wednesday 23rd July, 09:00–17:00.
Maidstone Borough Council is officially supporting the day, providing litter-picking equipment and invasive species awareness training so anyone taking part can help spot and report harmful plants along the riverbank.
Maidstone CAN will be at Lockmeadow with an info stand and joining the litter pick — come and say hello, find out about our work, and help keep the river clean.
