Alongside the Repair Café, we offer hands-on repair workshops for all ages, led by our experienced volunteers. These sessions support Key Stages 2 and 3 of the National Curriculum and feature three engaging projects: repairing a remote-control car, fault identification and repair of a retro gaming console, and rebuilding a wind-up torch.
Book Team Repair
Team Repair is a repair experience for ages 10 to 14. We have prepared kits that teach electronics, circuits, gears, fault finding and lots of investigation and repair skills. These events are led by an experienced volunteer.
Book Computer Tear Down
In this workshop there is an opportunity to power up a computer, examine the spec and make sure it is working, then disassemble the computer to it’s component parts, find out how it goes together and then re-assemble it into working order. Children will be supported by experienced volunteers.
