Textile artist and author Cas Holmes will be showing how to make your own Christmas box from waste paper, a simple, beautiful way to wrap presents this year without buying anything new.
Cas is also one of our Repair Café volunteers and a champion of visible mending: repairing treasured textiles with creative, contrasting stitches and patches so the repair becomes part of the story of the object. Earlier this year she shared her improvisational approach to handmade and adapted sketchbooks.
