Read More: April 2026 NewsletterThe April Repair Cafe fell on the Easter weekend. We were pleased to welcome a record number of visitors and 119 items for repair. 86 of them were fixed by our amazing team of 48 volunteers on the day.
We were busy on bikes but we could have handled a lot more clothing and textile repairs. As well as people bringing in their repairs, we had a lot of people visiting the SPORTS themed zone alongside the Repair Cafe.

Read More: February 2026 NewsletterFebruary’s Repair Café, held on a wet and windy winter’s day, proved to be a resounding success. It attracted the highest number of volunteers and exhibitors since the café began. The CAN Zone’s Nature theme was also hugely popular, bringing together an inspiring mix of people and projects — from planters to seeds, swifts to bees, artists to photographers, litter-picking to rewilding, and so much more.
